Nytt om runer
Annual Runic Bibliographies
Runic bibliographies are published yearly in the periodical Nytt om
runer. There is always a one-year delay, and thus in the issue for 1996,
the runic bibliography for 1995 appeared. In subsequent years, supplements to
previously published bibliographies appear.
On the following pages the
temporary runic bibliographies for the preceding year and for the present year
are found, as well as supplements registered during the present year to
published bibliographies. There are also links to the published runic
bibliographies that have appeared since 1996. The bibliographies were created
by Jan Axelson (Stockholm/Uppsala) and James E. Knirk (Oslo). Please notify the
editor of Nytt om runer concerning any additions or corrections to the
temporary bibliographies, James E. Knirk:

Note
that this is a serious research bibliography about runes as writing symbols and
about runic inscriptions. Esoteric works on the modern-day use of runes for
foretelling the future and the like are listed separately.
