Welcome to the Museum Shops
Both in the Historical Museum and in the Viking Ship Museum you will find the shops immediately by the entrance. You do not need to pay an entrance fee in order to visit these shops, which are always open during the museums’ opening hours. You can also place an order by phone or by e-mail. We are at present planning to open our own web-shop.
Our assortment represents one of Norway’s most comprehensive selection of museum copies of Norwegian jewellery, prehistoric, Viking Age and medieval. Most of the items are available in gold as well as in silver. We also have an excellent selection of books and other publications dealing with archaeology, history, anthropology and numismatics. These include publications for specialists as well as works of reference, illustrated books and books for children – a number of subjects are covered.

Postage will be charged for each order, the amount depending on the weight of the consignment.
