Photo archive

The Museum of Cultural History, University of Oslo, Norway has an extensive photographic archive of its collections. The archive also includes photographs from archaeological sites and excavations, as well as photographs from anthropological expeditions undertaken by Roald Amundsen, Carl Lumholtz and others.

All requests for photographic materials and/or permission for usage must be sent to us in written form. Please read our price- and usage conditions before using the electronic photographic order form.

ORDER FORM

Our period of delivery is a minimum of four weeks for requests concerning archived photographic material and a minimum of four to twelve weeks for requests where additional photography of an artefact is required. Please note that large orders will entail longer delivery periods.
