Free admission

Have you never been to the Historical Museum before, or maybe it's been a while since the last visit? The Historical Museum provides the public with free admission on the last Saturday of the month.

Since the University's ethnographic museum first opened its doors to the public in 1857, the university's ethnographic collection has grown to include around 55,000 artefacts.

The museum includes ethnographic exhibitions from these regions: The Arctic, the Americas and some exhibition displays from Sudan, the Horn of Africa and Palestine.
