Trapped a workshop
In connection to the annual Forskningsdagene, anthropologist Geoffrey Gowlland, invites you to join in a workshop, based on his project exploring what animal traps in the museum`s collection may tell us about human ingenuity and the way we relate to other species.

Thinking Through Traps
As part of the event, Professor Gunnar H. Gundersen from Høgskolen i Oslo og Akershus/Oslo University College will present his fascinating research into the design of mousetraps, using items in his collection of hundreds of mousetraps from around the world.
The workshop is connected to an exhibition experiment project on traps that will open on
26. October in the museum.

13:30 - 14:30 talk by Prof. Gunnar H. Gundersen
14:30 - 15:30 discussions around traps from the museum's ethnographic collections, with opportunities to study the artefacts up close, (with care!)
