Lecture: Norway's largest gold treasure from the Viking Age

In the summer of 1834 a homemaker worked at Nedre Hon farm in Øvre Eiker in Buskerud. He was to help the farmer drain a marsh on the property. During the trench work, he got the surprise of his life when he unearthed Norway's largest gold treasure from the Viking Age.

Regular museum ticket. The ticket is paid at the door. Due to space restrictions, registration is required.
