Since 2026, I have held the position of Project Manager for the EU‑funded Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Network ArCHe – Archaeological Coastal Heritage: Past, present and future of a hidden prehistoric legacy. In this capacity, I am responsible for the coordination, administrative oversight, and strategic facilitation of a multidisciplinary research and training programme spanning several European institutions.
Since 2019, I have worked extensively with the administration and management of research projects. My professional background includes positions at the food research institute Nofima and the Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA), prior to my current appointment at the University of Oslo. Across these roles, I have gained comprehensive experience with the full lifecycle of externally funded research projects.
My responsibilities have encompassed proposal development, project establishment, operational implementation, and the coordination of collaborative activities with international partners. I have also been responsible for ensuring compliance with funding requirements, formal reports, and contributing to evaluation processes.
My primary responsibilities have centred on EU‑projects and Centres for Research‑based Innovation (SFI) funded by the Research Council of Norway. In addition, I have contributed to the organisation of large‑scale academic and stakeholder events, as well as the development of internal infrastructures and support systems designed to strengthen institutional project management capacity.
