The Mamen and Lobsan families re-united

In 2024, three of Mamen's grandchildren travelled to Ulaanbaatar for the opening of 'Enchanting Urga', an art exhibition with artist N. Otgonbat and curator A. Bolormaa at The Mongolian National Gallery of Arts. On the opening day, they met with Lobsan's descendants. Mamen and Lobsan were once best friends in Urga, resulting in the historical reunation of the families as seen in the photograph. In the background, Mamen's historic photographs are printed on Mongolian silk, yet ending in a blank space for Mongolians to continue writing their history.
