Bogd Khaan and his carriage arrives

In the photograph, we see Bogd Khaan and his silk-draped carriage arriving, surrounded by mounted monks. Mongols kneel in worship of their new religious and political leader. Behind Bogd Khaan came a similar carriage escorting his wife, Tsendiin Dondogdulam (Ekh Dagina), now queen and goddess.
