Bird-hunting tool

(UEM12195) Rev. Bodding’s notes: 'The ring is tied to the four ends of a split bambooo. The rope in the middle of the net is tied around the pole so that the net is held tight. This device is used at dusk or at night, when the ore is resting or is in the nest. One then sneaks closer and puts the device over the bird. Is also used with torchlight as these birds are not awakened by this.' Material: Vegetable fibre, bamboo. Length: 177 cm, diameter: 40 cm.
