Fish trap
(UEM12208) Rev. Bodding’s notes: 'These fish traps are used mainly at the end of the rainy season when quite a lot of fish are found in the rice fields and in the small streams. Where the water trickles one dam up on both sides, so that an opening is left big enough for the fish trap to be placed. The water runs through the trap, and the fish remains in this. The traps are set in the evening and looked after in the morning.'
