Tasks performed
In the project Nordic people and plants, one of our goals is to create a database containing knowledge about the Nordic peoples relation to, and use of plants during different time periods. One of my tasks is to enter and systematize archeobotanical data which will be included in this database.
Background
I have a background from biology, and a master's degree within ecology and evolution from the University of Oslo. I finished my masters in 2015, which was about the genetic structure of Icelandic scurvygrasses (Cochlearia).
I have worked as a damage consultant at the Norwegian dry rot Insurance, where we dealt with problematic house guests such as dry rot, bed bugs, silverfishes, rodents and ants.
