Research interests:
My main interests as an archaeologist revolve around Iron and Viking Age households, settlements and landscape use. Food, culinary practices, crafts and technology are of particular interest for elucidating topics such as relations and interaction, community coherence and memory, change, creativity and innovation.
A key topic and field of interest is archaeological knowledge production and the mutual relationship between cultural heritage management, archaeological field work, research and dissemination. I have extensive experience from archaeological excavations, both as a project manager and excavation manager.
